A few things this morning,.......
this morning is my day off. Rather, today really is my 'day off', but I am going up to Blythewood to ride and then Hopkins to ride and get mail, probably.
Clinic on Sunday at WAF, I pray it goes well.
Also, a sale horse that Diana is selling went to a pre-purchase exam Thursday, I think, and we found an old fetlock injury that is pretty-much career-ending as far as Dressage goes. Needless to say, he was not sold that day. Instead, we are now offering him to a good home for free. There are medical treatments available to help his injury, an old tendon injury that could cause issues later if A). workload stress increases/continues, B). not treated.
So, treatments are available to help delay the tendon issues, help the issues, but he just cannot hold up to the strenuous workload of Dressage or any 'high load' work.
The kicker? This little Friesian/TB 16.1h black gelding (looks like a mini-version of a full Friesian, but nicer gaits!) is perfect in temperament, gaits, attitude, calmness, size, etc. He looks amazing, moves nicely, awesome work ethic, great attitude, and great with other horses. He would be a perfect light work trail-horse or companion horse, baby-sitter, or just a horse to play with, to have fun on with light occasional work. See his ad on Diana's website. You can see how much was being asked for him, his description, and some conformational photos, he is a true caliber horse, and is now being offered free to a good home that will love him, get him the treatments he needs and give him a great future. Click on the link to view- he is the 2nd horse down.

In other news, heading to Blythewood to ride Sasha today. Should be fun.
