Yes, Danny and I got a new puppy for an early Valentines gift (to him,....well, really for us, but it was 'to him' ) on Tuesday from the local SPCA-go there, support adopting dogs/puppies!- and our landlord agreed to it as long as she is an 'outside dog', of which we have a pen for with a dog house outside, and Danny and I are going to build a larger 'run' for her as well. Yay!
She is a mix, but we are certain that it is a basset/beagle x English Springer Spaniel, with perhaps some JRT (Jack Russell Terrier) in there somewhere. Ador-able. Black and white. Spotted. Little webbed toes and spotted feet. Ador-able anyone? Yes, yes, I do believe so!

So, after 1 day of thinking and toting her around to introduce to barns and horses and shavings and family and friends and people at their work offices and other dogs ( new brothers? new sisters?) and Gu and everyone (it was an exhausting day yesterday for us!) and running errands all day,........we decided to call her Maggie! It fits perfectly, and she loves it.

Some other thoughts, but eventually-fell-short-names,.......Marley, Clearance Puppy (kidding ), Diva, Beatice-Bea for short-, Maddie,.............but we both thought of Maggie and then last night decided that it was that name that fit her best!

So, Maggie Moo, Maggiemaggiemaggiemaggie, Mag, etc.......nicnames begin!

Oh, and I am sorry for the torture of this post sans photos,.......my camera does not have it's CD card in, and I do not have the CD card with me,.......so, off to find the card, then LOTS and LOTS of photos, I swear.
