Things I want to do/be/buy/give/see in 2010: (working draft of the list please)
- Buy a gun
- Get a concealed weapons permit
- Get down to 110lbs. avg.
- Sell 50 prints of my photography in 2010.
- Learn to create decorative dinnerware w/ decals (water-slide paper/rub on paper) to give away and to sell.
- Take better care of my house in 2010
- Read more books
- Make all A’s (or high B’s) in college classes in 2010
- Get a tattoo
- Start a locally grown location website
- Get in touch with the Pioneer Woman
- Take a cooking class
- Workout daily with Wii or biking
- Have a wine cellar some day
- Pay off Danny’s truck
- Pay off Danny’s JcPenny bill
- Pay off my Jeep
- Sell my old truck
- Do more outside our house, like cooking, eating, playing, work,etc.
- Save at least $2,000 in each of our savings accounts in 2010
- Be more frugal with money, splurging less often to save for more later
- Book wedding venue
- Decide what to do for wedding
- Live a story that is worth telling
- Visit all of the Veterinary Colleges in the SE region of the US; apply to all
- Take classes all year at USC
- Complete online courses
- Stay positive
- Grow own vegetables and food in greenhouse
- Have manageable, clean, weedless garden outside for year-round
- Sell plants from greenhouse
- Sell food from greenhouse
- Dry herbs to use
- Dry herbs to sell
- Create infused oils with peppers, herbs, etc. to sell and give away
- Go through our house and possessions regularly to give anything we do not need or use away to Salvation Army or someone we know in need
- Entertain more
- Buy nice china
- Collect nice teapots and antique kitchenware
- Go on a date night with Danny 1x/week in 2010
- Pay all bills on time/early
- Track Danny and my's spending for all costs for 1 week; see what we can cut from it
- Make lunches for Danny and me to take with us daily
- Be a vegetarian 75% of the time; exception is venison and seafood
- Juice more
- Get AVON organized and running better
- Stay on top of AVON work better
- Give out all of AVON brochures that I have sitting around
- Give out all of future AVON brochures that are ordered/come with orders
- Order on time, no late orders with AVON
- Be paid before ordering for every AVON order
- Create an AVON customer mailing list for current customers to receive a new brochure in the mail from you each campaign (or figure out how to send them a brochure from AVON directly ).
- Show Sasha 4th level/PSG and be able to score on average in the 60-70% ranges, if not higher
- Buy a shadbelly for showing
- Get Pokey consistently working well w/t/c and on the lunge, as well as jumping under saddle two feet at least.
- Show Pokey at least 1x this year.
- Get my USDF Silver medal with Sasha (or Guru later on)
- Work on rehabilitation with Guru, bringing him back to work and riding
- Danny to finish his school and classes in 2010
- Danny to be able to work and make a sizeable profit from the greenhouse
- Use one of the savings accounts specifically for a house fund for later on
- Decide on final details for wedding planning and what we are planning for it (elope/traditional,etc.)
- Honeymoon decisions (use funds to buy house?)
- Help Mary Conner sell her horses
- Organize all tax receipts for F&Co. and our own taxes
- Be more organized in general with paperwork
- Start a part-time cooking business to cook/sell food/meals to people in need or busy people with a weekly menu or catering menu to choose from.
- Live off of everything we have in the kitchen until we have nothing left 1x to see just how much stuff we actually have in the kitchen, forcing us to be creative with meals and awareness of what we really have in our kitchen.
- Shop for food less
- Live off of a smaller grocery list with just the essentials and various fresh foods/seafood.
- Go fishing and keep fish for food (fish for our food!)
- Get Sarah riding Pokey consistently and confidently w/t/c in 2010.
- Get new *paying* clients for riding (ESD)
- Be in a clinic with Sasha
- School the YR test on Sasha
- Cook my way through The Pioneer Woman Cooks and Williams-Sonoma eat well.
- Work more at the barn, doing stalls, etc. (Jan '10 went from 2 to 3x/week).
- Look at horse trailers for Jeep to pull ( if it is going to be able to).
- Get up when Danny gets up in the AM, stop sleeping in until the last possible minute on work days
- Graduate with honors from USC
- Get into vet school (UNC if that is where I need to be!)
- Excel in vet school
- Graduate from vet school
