Library

Again, no posts for a while. Been busy.
Truck was in shop for a while, so D's dad Gary and I went looking around for a 'new' vehicle. We've had enough of the truck issues and shop bills. Thank you very much.
What we found was a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee, dark green-but with emrald hues/sparkly bits-, and in v. good condition (knock on wood), drove great, good price. So, we bought it.
(It went to the shop briefly for a bit of a tune-up on some stuff *oil pump looked at and replaced*, and new tires put on). In a few short words, I love it. It is very "me". Love it. It has heat too.
So, the truck is officially for sale.
In other news, USC classes have started again, so I was able to get advised and schedule classes and get all of that done the other day (Monday?) with Mr. Gary in Columbia, while the Jeep was in the shop. I was able to get two classes on the campus in Sumter for this semester, equaling 6 credit hours on one campus, as well as I have online classes I am working with/on.
So, I am now in the USC Sumter Library until my next class. Waiting.
Both of my classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays; the classes start at 11 am and end at 4:15pm, so I am planning on just hanging out at the campus or around town if I needed to do errands or whatnot, for my classes in between them. It is all good for me at least. AND, the 11am first class gives me time to be able to do the barn in the AM, early-like I have been liking to do. It's easier to get out of bed in the morning when you know you can have a heated, great Jeep to take to the barn. Also, it's very quiet and serene at the barn in the AM-no one is there except the horses usually, so it's nice. And, I can listen to NPR, which is good. :)
*Nerd,...........? yes.*
So, that's good.
Guru is getting some blood work tested (vet came out the other day(lastweek??) to get coggins and vaccines done) for Lyme Disease. We have been reading up about it, and so it could be a possible answer to the odd lamenesses he had been showing. It will be good to have the blood test results done for him anyway, to see if he is deficit or over levels on anything. Just a good check regardless.
We have also been busy organizing and cleaning our house, thankfully Danny was able to help me last night- I did give him a list. Ha-ha. He got most of it done. Tonight we will work on it again and hopefully get it done. Muah-ha-ha. That will be wonderful. I love being in a clean, organized house.
Thankfully, all updates are good with my clients. Next week Pokey will be back in training, and Sasha will be hacked and schooled lightly over the weekend and into next week.
Yay!
Thank you Lord, I can ride/school again. Also, feeling very healthy, good diet. Love it.
-Em
