Goosearoose

Ok, still no answers with Gu- blocked the metatarsal, coffin and fetlock joints, no real black and white change in his lameness grade. So, we are trying something to help narrow everything down bit by bit here- 10 day course of bute with 5 days of 2g, 5 days of 1g. Light "therapeutic" riding after 3 days, WHICH IS TODAY WHOO HOO!!, then we see what happens. Gets worse, gets better, goes away with bute comes back with zip bute, or goes away forever?? We'll see. We are looking into something in his withers, something is not 'right' there, so perhaps something is out there, he is compensating and it is traveling down into the leg. We have 2 more 'joint places' to be able to block in the lower leg/hoof, then then that will be ruled out. More vet bills, but getting closer to an answer here, hopefully!! Danny and his dad came and watched Dr. Nicole work on Gu and watched him move, which was cool to have them there to see some of what is going on. They both mentioned too that there was something 'not quite right' in his left side as far as above the shoulder area-they could see it, him moving his limb 'off', when he was walking with me. Mmmmm, will look at that today. I do not recall seeing that, but fresh eyes are always welcome. :) With good taste, of course.
Schedule today:
-Dogsitting Abbey' s 3 dogs,........
-Riding Guru-light walk under saddle for 10 min.
-2 AVON orders to be 'delivered'.
-Back to Abbey's house for dogs, work on labeling the 100's of AVON brochures with labels. Yippee.
More to come on the latest and greatest AVON adventures involving Danny, myself, and a smoking truck, that could have been on fire???? Not sure.
