Got out to the barn earlier this AM, rode Sasha early. She was pretty good, for having a week off from working. Was very hanging on the right in the canter, just tired and wanting to 'quit', or break the gait. Just didn't want to work that way. Otherwise, was pretty good. Good walk work, good trot work, and nice canter L. Got the canter R, but it was harder for her. Gotta get her stronger on that R hind to work through her body, inside leg to outside rein instead of crooked and flat. She'll (we'll) get there. Otherwise, pretty good work. I did get really hot though. ST got there later (no serious injuries from car accident, but told to not ride for at least 1-2 weeks-"take it easy"-)so I was going to ride while she watched, but she got there a bit later than expected, and I got there a bit earlier than expected, so she saw the end stuff, and we talked about the throughness and going to the basics for correct work, etc. etc. It was pretty good.
Working on addendums (?) for this house, aka, paperwork. Then, off to give Sarah a lesson on Pokey (who, on a total sidenote, was a good boy yesterday and jumped a ton of (1-2ft.+) logs and etc.in the front field. He was really working!!) tonight. Hopefully I will be able to get her ON him. We'll see. No worries though. Then, some time with my boy, Gu. I need my "Gu-love".
