All is calm and quiet this morning, drinking some coffee with some *coughunhealthycough* breakfast. :D Oh well, it is sweet and good. :D
I am unreasonably calm right now-all work is done except my English exam this night, then schoolwork is done. However, as always, not is all complete until a few more little things are taken care of, such as meeting with my evasive, busy ("arg" is all I will say here as to not disrupt my good calmness, *ha*, but you can imagine what my firecracker mind is thinking,......gotta love those early days of learning the importance of swearing as a young kid on the farm. :D ) 'advisor'. Give her credit, she does seem busy, with a desk that clicks my OCD-ness into mode, wishing she would leave for a bit, so I can at least stack some of the mountianous *insert large, obniouxous word here to represent a 'mound' the size of Everest* of paperwork, folders, and colourful boxes and books into at least managable stacks and put the pens into one of the many empty water bottles, vases, coke cans, etc that also surround the table! She could hire me as an assistant, I would thrive doing that. Mmmmm, '....you change this D to an A, and your office will be so organized and paperwork so clearly labeled, you will have so much time on your hands to be able to do something fun! Like breed mutant drospholia flies!...." (or go kayaking= more fun! ) Haha,.....sorry, that was somewhat mean, but I seeing now that I am still bitter against that la. If I could get paid to organize someone else's house, I could totally do that. Mmmmm, perhaps a new business idea? I will definitely look into that.......
Was I not talking about being calm, and got onto the subject of my advisor and her desk of work.....ok,........but just one more note before I step off the soapbox, although I will just be stepping back on another 'box' as soon as I get off,.....I believe if you=organized and neat, your life will reflect; think zen and the energy chi of the room sort of thing. Clean=GOOD!
Anyway, I have to meet with her, probably will not end up cleaning out her office or talk to her about hiring an assistant organizer *ahem-me!* to organize 'it all'....., but I will be talking to her about taking summer and online classes, and discussing my 'plan' for school from now on. That is, taking 2-3 classes a 'semester', and taking as many online classes as possible, starting June on, to be able to fit college around my life. I have come to the hard realization from my two years at two different colleges with totally different 'everythings' that I am not the 'average' jock-nerd college student that lives in the dorms and parties on the weekends. I have a house, I commute to school and work, I have a business (that has sadly been ignored b/c of college right now, but that is changing! Stay tuned for more exciting F&Co. updates! ), a fiancee, a horse, a house, a full-time (pretty much) job, looking for another possible job, or at least to expand on riding, exercising, and training horses for "Emily Snapp Dressage". ( Haha, that made up, but seeing how it sounds?? ) I ride horses and have other goals set out other than ones that I am going to college for, such as riding Dressage at an international level, and I simply CANNOT just ignore one or the other. They have to be simutatious, and I know I can do it, it is just organizing them and time scheduling them to fit in together cohesively. It's all about experience, learning, and knowing how to schedule them together in such a way that does not break me, as well as not hurting either goal. I have gone to both extremes of trying to find a balance, and I think I have got a better grip on it now. I am so excited to what the future holds for my goals and me, it will be good. Thank you God!! Anyway, back to the coffee. Coffee, need coffee.
My plans for today:
-Coffee
-Internet for a bit
-Study English
-Freewrite in English book until I reach the 25 page limit, which I am actually looking forward to.
-See Danny, who is coming up either this afternoon or this evening to talk, etc. If he comes this afternoon ( after his jobs ), he is helping me study! :D Muah haha, I like to have someone else to study with that can write up notecards, quiz me, etc. Makes it much more interesting and I tend to stay with the books more, even if I am just in the presence of someone like him (who will not let me put it down every couple of pages,.........*bawh*), to have someone to 'talk with' or verbalize something to.
I will be back on here later, hopefully. Interesting business ideas buzzing in my head now,.....will expand on that later perhaps! I need to make some money, seriously!
-Em
