Danny called me up and said that he was given an engagement gift for us, a beautiful rare rainbow Japanese crepe myrtle-our favourite tree by a very good friend of ours. Our first engagement gift! WOW! We are engaged! So, I am finishing up, *will be* a lab report due tomorrow that is kicking my ass and then, we are going to meet at our house tonight and plant it, sunlight or not! I will post pictures asap later, but for right now, back to Drosophila flies and their mating habits and gene mutations. Thrilling,........really. Somebody hand me a beer and a fly swatter........
